Paula Palmer is leading an effort to tackle one part of America's dismal past with respect to Native Americans. Through a project called Toward Right Relationship with America's Native Peoples, she is engaging Quakers and the wider world in a kind of Truth & Reconciliation work. One step is an eyes-wide-open look at the well-meaning attrocities done by the Indian Boarding Schools and the groups, like Quakers, who led the effort.

Ash Kyrie spent 18 months serving the USA as a Wisconsin National Guardsperson sent to Iraq, and it changed him. The road home to fullness includes time with other vets, support from family & community, and a long peace march in Japan, plus lots of subsequent Japanese connections. And art that helps bridge the gap from soldier to civilian, and war zone to back home.

As Aetheling International Consultants he facilitates NationLab, a simulation game helping countries of this hemisphere experience and plan for social, economic and political developments. Loren, a Quaker pacifist and mathematical sociologist, works alongside with the military to strengthen our neighbors, and keep the peace.
