Berkeley CA Meets Woodstock NY: Friction Farm

Aidan Quinn & Christine Stay

Back in 2020 and 2021 I discovered Christine Stay and Aidan Quinn who are known collectively as Friction Farm. I did separate Song of the Soul interviews with Christine and Aidan, discovering scintillating aspects of their lives and glorying in the inspiration and power of their modern-folk music. The farm-to-table house concerts they do, the amazing songs-related-to-books-to-inspire-young-readers that they have created, their weekly online Elevenses, and the general world-beautifying and transforming music they channel is all good reason to welcome them back, together, to share a joint Friction Farm Song of the Soul.

Past/present religious/spiritual influences: Catholic, Unitarian Universalist
