Confessional of Folk Therapy

Album cover for How Can I Say This?

Annie Capp's music has sometimes been called Midwest Urban Folk and it has also been called Folk Therapy, and the music that she shares today is from an especially deep and somewhat confessional project called How Can I Say This. Most commonly Annie performs as Annie and Rod Capps, and sometimes as part of the Diamonds In The Rust band with Jan Krist, Alan Finkbeiner, Jim Bizer, and Rod, but this latest project is a 'solo' production by Annie -- along with the help, instruments, voices, and inspiration of, significantly, dozens of women.

Past/present religious/spiritual influences: Catholic, Buddhism, Earth-based Spirituality, Non-affiliated

I simply adored talking with you about everything from the songs on my album to the instruments on my wall (that 'dulcimerish' instrument is called a Strum Stick, I remembered later) and of course, life in general. You know how to put a girl at ease and I so appreciated your attention to the spirit behind the songs. Hope you never stop doing this program!

warmly,
Annie
