Money is a thing that you buy because you need its services. Shouldn't it be provided by the free market like everything else? YES! Our current system of monopoly money didn't evolve -- it was created by central planners who replaced the working system of competing state and locally-issued currencies by the dysfunctional system of fiat dollars we have now.
