Kelly Lundeen was a founder of Just Peace from the Chippewa Valley back in 2001, spent time in Milwaukee at the Casa Maria Catholic Worker House, which led her to do accompaniment work in Columbia as part of the International Peace Observatory. But her work recently, back in Wisconsin, has been as a mother of 3 and as staff for Nukewatch, working for a nuclear-free future since 1979.

Nukewatch staffer John LaForge has produced the Nukewatch Quarterly for more than 20 years, carefully documenting the dangers and disasters of nuclear power & weapons, mixed with reporting on Nonviolent Direct Action. Originating in Madison, WI, Nukewatch has long been based near Luck, WI, with the Anathoth Community Farm, living organically, nonviolently, and mostly off the grid.

Spirit In Action will be visiting today with Barb Kass who is a member and founder of the Anathoth Community Farm, an itentional community based on non-violence, sustainability and community, located in Luck, Wisconsin. Barb has traveled a long and varied spiritual path, being raised Catholic, active with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship in college, attending seminary in Chicago, working with Catholic Worker communities, and currently attending a progressive small-town Luthern Church.
