Singer/songwriter/guitarist Alice Di Micele has a deep connection to Spirit in nature, especially through the element of water. With 12 recordings to her name, she's been prolific and profound. Raised Catholic, nature is now her church.

Lisa Wildman performs kids music with Peanut Butter Jellyfish, folk music with Group W, as well as performing country, opera and symphonic music. She plays flute, guitar and sings, and her current passion is sacred chant. Lisa is accompanied on some of these songs by Brenda Rose Simkin (vocals) and Paul Tinkerhess (banjo).

Rod Kinny is a singer/songwriter on a heart-led spiritual journey. As his web site proclaims, "Rod Kinny, Music with a deeper meaning ...". Rod was raised Methodist, and now attends Unity Unitarian Universalist church in the Twin Cities.

Andy Murray's music has been featured regularly on our Spirit In Action program because his music is steeped in a combination of deep spirit and healing work for the world. Andy has long worked as a teacher of Peace and Conflict studies at Juniata College in Pennsylvania. With a singer/songwriter sideline that has spanned 3 plus decades, Andy has created a lot of wonderful music, much of it originating with his lifelong faith as a member of the Church of the Brethren, one of the historic peace churches.

Andy Juhl is a young, quiet, Quaker farmer in rural Northwest Iowa with a passion for peace, love and music. With his twin brother on drums, his wife on French horn, and various friends and musicians to accompany him, you'll find a lot of music with meaning.

Lisa Meissner performs with The Rustic Riders with a definite spiritual/religious element, fueled by personal & cultural struggles and a with a healing vision of the possibilities.

A re-visit with singer/songwriter and activist Mary Shapiro, organizer and host of the Sounds of Hope Concert Series in Washington DC, and niece to the Dominican priest who founded the Friends of God Dominican Ashram.

Alivia Bright Maple Biko is a singer/songwriter with a ministerial component, raised in the Midwest but now a longtime Oregon resident. Part of her religious and spiritual journey was in the UCC and Lutheran churches, and she is now clerk and substitute pastor for Freedom Friends Church in Salem, Oregon.

Self-proclaimed as a Jewish-Christian-Mystic-Pluralist, Mary Shapiro is clearly a rich spiritual pastiche. Her music is folk-rock-progressive, and she carries deep passion for work to heal and grow the world. Native to the Midwest, Washington DC is her current home.

Susan Werner is a Chicago-based singer/songwriter, preferring a big, big, city still close to her Iowa roots. Susan is an innovator, and among her musical creations is "The Gospel Truth", a no-holds-barred grappling with faith and doubt which raised hackles and admiration from the entire belief spectrum. But that project is just the tip of the iceberg, and there is so much more to hear and see.
