Steve Chase

Steve Chase has a long history of doing, teaching, and writing about activism, starting from the age of 13, when he first stood against war. Steve was the founding director of Antioch University's graduate program in Advocacy for Social Justice and Sustainability, he's taught at Pendle Hill Retreat Center, worked at the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, and as the Assistant Director of Solidarity 2020 and Beyond. His writings include How Agent Provocateurs Harm Our Movements (scroll down here to download) and a pamphlet Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions? A Quaker Zionist Rethinks Palestinian Rights. He is currently researching a book on Quaker historical perspectives on Israel/Palestine, after time spent there this past year.
